I don't suffer from SAD, but I would say I definately get a little depressed when fall rolls around.  I think its the change from summer to fall as it gets colder and its time to get back to work.  At the same time this little depression is very temporary.  Is that similar to what people with SAD experience to a greater extent?

I?m very sorry, sqk.  My mom suffers from fibromyalgia and so I watch how each season?s change is difficult for her.  Have you ever tried one of the light boxes?  If so, did it help any?

I do not think I suffer from SAD but like someone else said I do feel a little down during some of the winter days especially those that are really cold and dreary.

I have never been diagnosed with SAD, nor have I ever really discussed it with my doctor, but I do believe I have some component of it.  I get really, really down during the winter months.  I have used tanning beds during the winter months and that really seems to brighten my outlook.
