Sleeping through hot days?

It's summer where I am, so the sun is bright and shining. I can't sleep during the day. I wear an eye-mask. I have darkened curtains. I have the air conditioner running to cool the room. Still can't sleep

It is very difficult to adjust your body clock so that you can sleep during the day. Are you a night worker? People who have to sleep in the daytime take a long time to adjust but they eventually manage it, it just takes time.
