I never used to have to worry about my sleep schedule as I only had to get to work by 1pm.  It seemed I could always get enough sleep and wake up in plenty of time to get ready and go to work.  When I shifted to work in the morning (I have to be there by 5am) I found myself having to make sure I got to bed at a certain time just to make sure I wasn't completely exhausted.  But, I have also found that giving myself too much leeway, sleeping in on days off, can really mess me up when it comes time to going back to work.

Do you try to keep a regular sleep schedule?  Do you keep to the same sleep schedule even when you are off from work or on vacation?

When I'm on vacation I tend to sleep in more and more but when I'm not of vacation we stick to a pretty solid schedule. It doesn't matter how much sleep I get I always feel tired. There are very few times during the week that I feel rested.

If you are always feeling tired no matter how much sleep you get, there is a problem somewhere.  It could be that the quality of your sleep is poor and so is not as restful as it could be.  It could also stem from health issues such as thyroid problems.
