We are sleeping on feather pillows at the moment but I need to buy more because these are becoming lumpy. I have heard good and bad reports about every type of pillow whether made from all down, all feather, feather and down, wool, memory foam or synthetic and I just cannot decide what type to buy. Any recommendations would be welcome.

I love down pillows but the are really $$$ and I just can not handle paying that much for something that does not last as long. The last time I went out on a limb it was an EB pillow and at the time it only costed about $50.00 now as I see their site its a ton more. I have also tried the kind that conform to your neck/head but those get weird after a bit too.

I have to stay away from down pillows because of my allergies.  I usually just stick with the hypoallergenic type and replace them quite often.  personally I have wanted to try the memory foam type, but just haven't gotten around to committing to one.

Well I went with the down and feather variety and they arrived yesterday. I also bought a down and feather duvet. We had a really good snuggly night's sleep last night, even perhaps a little bit too warm but they are so comfortable!

I had neck injury from a car accident a few years back so I use neck pillow to ease the pain and relieve nerve pressure at the back of my neck. I avoid sleeping on regular pillows because they don't support the neck and the spine and couldn't sometimes provide adequate comfort. A memory foam type of pillow can be a good choice to sleep on.

Has anyone tried the memory foam pillows yet? I have considered them and was wondering if they work well and are comfortable? If you have one do they hold up well?
