Could You Use The Light Box....

for a grow lamp if you are not using it to sit in front of?  I have a lot of indoor plants and if I got the light box to use for seasonal affective disorder, could I use it for the rest of the time to grow my plants?  I know it would work for the SAD but it would be great if it could do double duty.

I don't see why not, though I'd like an expert's opinion on this. After all, if the light is doing you good why should it not have the same affect on your plants? Plants need the benefit of the sun's rays as much as people do.
