Would The Alarm Scare The Child?

I was just wondering if the bed wetting alarm would scare the child. How loud is the alarm? If the child is in a deep sleep, do you think that this noise would scare them? Also, do you think it may cause them nightmares? I wouldn't want my child to have problems sleeping then because of the alarm.

My chief concern on something like this is the unwanted attention it draws to the child. With an alarm, the whole house would know what had happened. Rarely does a bedwetter do it purposely so this seems rather like punishing them for something that they cannot control.

I am not sure if it would scare them or not, honeslty normal alarm clocks scare me with that BUZZZZZ sound and thats why I wake up when I do use an alarm, only to music. I would much rather take the off chance of a song randomly coming on that scares me than something I know 100% that will.
